Unlimited fresh Timothy, Orchard, or Oat hay should always be available. It is crucial for digestion and wearing down their constantly growing teeth.
2. Fresh Leafy Greens (10-15%)
Provide about 1 packed cup per 2 lbs of body weight. Focus on dark, leafy varieties:
- Romaine Lettuce (No Iceberg!)
- Cilantro & Parsley
- Basil & Mint
- Bok Choy
3. Pellets (5%)
High-fiber, Timothy-based pellets only. Avoid "muesli" mixes with seeds or colorful pieces.
